Dream Word Charm Ancient Patina Necklace

An etched copper charm topped with a rainbow moonstone gemstone on a sterling silver necklace. The word DREAM is etched into the copper charm and barely visible. The design was stamped onto the copper, and then it was dipped in acid to make the design a 3 dimensional relief. Then the charm was hammered, shaped, and tumbled for hours. The copper was brushed with permanent turquoise blue patina coloring to replicate an ancient verdigris patina look, followed by hand sanding to bring the original copper color back to the surface. The copper was then sealed with three coats of wax and hand buffed. Moonstone, a crown chakra gemstone associated with dreamwork, sets above the Dream charm and more moonstone is wire wrapped into the handcrafted clasp.

Copper charm is a 1 1/8 inch by 5/8 inch rectangle .

Necklace is a 20 inches long and finished entirely in sterling silver except for the copper charm.
